CAN MY SPOUSE AND MY CHILDREN BE MY ATTORNEY?

CAN I BE KICKED OUT IF I DON'T HAVE A TENANCY AGREEMENT?
The Housing Act 1988 allows a landlord to issue a Section 21 Notice even if there is no written tenancy agreement. However, it is important to note that this notice must expire after the agreed fixed term. In cases where no minimum term has been agreed upon, the default period is six months.
WHEN SHOULD I MAKE AN LPA?
It is crucial to act promptly! Regrettably, none of us can predict what lies ahead in the future. Hence, it is advisable to establish your wishes sooner rather than later. Although an LPA may not be immediately utilized, having it in place will prevent any potential delays in managing your affairs when the need arises.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY CV TO BE COMPLETED AND CAN I ASK FOR REVISION?

CAN I GET DISABILITY BENEFITS WHILE WORKING?
Personal Independence Payment (PIP) offers financial support to individuals who are ill or disabled, regardless of their employment situation. It is not affected by the level of income or savings one has. Whether one works part-time or full-time, they remain eligible to receive PIP.
WHEN CAN MY LPA BE USED?
The financial LPA becomes operational once it is registered with the Office of the Public Guardian unless stated otherwise. On the other hand, the Health & Welfare LPA can only be utilized after registration and in cases where an individual lacks the mental capacity to make decisions for themselves.
DOES MY LOCAL COUNCIL HAVE TO HOUSE ME IF I AM HOMELESS?
All local authorities are legally obligated to determine whether they have a duty to offer long-term housing to individuals. If you remain without a home even after receiving 8 weeks of personalized assistance from the council, we will assess whether it is our responsibility to provide you with housing for a longer duration.
Your council has various forms of support available to you. For instance, they can provide advice, emergency housing, assistance in finding long-term housing, or aid to help you remain in your current home. The specific type of support you are eligible for will depend on your eligibility for assistance.
IS THERE A SALARY CAP WHILE I CLAIM UNIVERSAL CREDIT?
The salary cap for Universal Credit varies depending on the location and household composition. In Greater London, the current cap stands at £486.98 per week (£2,110.25 per month or £25,323 per year) for couples and lone parents. Outside Greater London, the cap is set at £423.46 per week (£1,835 per month or £22,020 per year) for couples and lone parents.
DO I HAVE TO REGISTER MY LPA STRAIGHT AWAY?
No, it is not mandatory to register your LPA at the same time as making it. However, we highly advise doing so to ensure that it is readily available for use when you require assistance. If you do not register your LPA and subsequently lose mental capacity, your attorneys can handle the registration process on your behalf.
DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS?
If we have not yet started working on your order, you may be eligible for a refund. At Your Advice Hub, we offer professional services such as advocacy, form-filling, career guidance, and CV writing. We do not have trial periods or grace periods after purchasing our products and services.

Since all our offerings are customised to meet your specific needs, we are unable to provide full refunds once your project has been assigned to an advisor or writer. - If you choose to cancel your order before a writer is assigned, we will refund the full amount, deducting a 20% administration fee to cover the time spent processing the refund and cancelling the project.

Please be aware that if deadlines are missed, refunds will not be given. Each project has its own unique timeline, tailored to your specific needs and requirements. While the initial drafts are typically submitted within two to three business days after your first consultation, we strongly recommend starting the process at least ten business days before your application deadlines. IS THERE A TIME LIMIT WHEN I WILL WORK WITH YOU?
The housing, benefits, and other additional form-filling services have a time limitation of one hour (60 minutes). If this time runs out, you will need to purchase additional hours to complete your applications. However, the LPA service does not have a time limit, but it typically takes around 2 hours to complete both forms. If your LPA form cannot be completed within this time due to the complexity of your information, an additional hour (60 minutes) will need to be purchased.
For Career and CV Writing, there is no time limit for revisions. We will continue working on your CV until you are completely satisfied. However, to manage our writer's workload, we kindly request that you close your project once you are happy with your documents. If we do not receive any communication from you within 14 days of submitting your new documents, our advisors will automatically close your project due to inactivity.
HOW MANY HOURS CAN I WORK BEFORE MY BENEFITS ARE AFFECTED?
In specific situations, such as for carers or childminders, it is possible to work beyond 16 hours (or 24 hours for partners) and still be eligible to receive Income Support or Jobseeker's Allowance.
To qualify for Income Support (IS) or Jobseeker's Allowance (JSA), you are considered to be working full time if you engage in 16 or more hours of paid employment each week.
There is no cap on the number of hours you can work while receiving Universal Credit. However, as your earnings increase, your Universal Credit payments will be reduced. Specifically, for every £1 you earn, your Universal Credit payment will decrease by 55p.
